Tambro Construction Ltd. is looking for qualified, knowledgeable, adaptable individual looking to develop their career as Construction Project Co Ordinator. Based out of Guelph, Ontario where we specialize in ICI and multi-residential projects.
This full time role would work in an excellent mentor driven team environment focusing on both residential as well as ICI projects. The job duties would be centered around collaborating with a project manager in:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Carefully reviewing and examining data and documents such as analysis reports.
- Collecting and gathering the information that will be used to produce project estimates
- Coming up with correct and accurate cost information that is required for construction projects
- Completing full take-offs of quantities for Divisions 1 to 16.
- Planning and organizing, and estimating work assignments, as well as other tasks as required
- Visiting project sites, and attending pre-bid meetings.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills in English
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Build and maintain relationships with sub-contractors, clients, architects and consultants
